Computer science is a driver of our lives. Let us get involved in the Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) by offering our students an opportunity to explore and learn coding. CSEdWeek and Hour of Code arrive December 7-13th, and this annual event is bigger than ever. Here are some resources from the Computer Science Education Week or CSEdWeek to develop interest in Computer Science.Code.org supports this movement. Hour of Code is a global movement in over 180 countries, and is a quick way to introduce coding to students or anyone. The links includes lesson plans, tutorials and games to support student interests. For young students K- 3, we have the 2Code Tool in Purple Mash to support our students.
I'm Heeru Bhojwani, Information Curator & Coach/ Librarian at the American School of Bombay. I appreciate the value of teamwork and global interaction with learning. I believe that education is the only important element in raising the bar of human existence and quality of life. In an evolving role of a librarian, I understand that strong work ethics, flexibility and enthusiasm are keys to the success of our evolving new role of a librarian in the web 3.0 or 4.0 world. Through this blog I intend to share my thoughts, views or tools that I come across in my journey.
